There is fine plasterwork by Cortese and the contents are exquisite having been cared for by the late Lady Sheffield. Kiplin Hall was built by George Calvert, who went on to found the State of Maryland and Baltimore. Jacobean in mellow red brick, it has the grandeur of a castle. The garden is Arts and Crafts period in the style of Gertrude Jekyll. There will be the opportunity to enjoy the gardens, and an exclusive guided tour of the Hall which will be closed to the public.
