The Post-Impressionist Journey at Connaught Brown Gallery

| Connaught Brown Gallery

Art Fund members are invited to a private view of the gallery's summer exhibition. In an informal talk, Director Anthony Brown shares a personal view of the market for works from the Post-Impressionist period, and also discusses the paintings on display. The exhibition includes a major painting by Raoul Dufy, and works by Albert Marquet, one of the original Fauve artists and a seminal figure in Post-Impressionism. His view of Venice is particularly notable. The exhibition includes examples of artistic developments from later periods, featuring exciting pieces from the gallery's collection by artists such as Picasso and Pascin.
