A visit to Eltham Palace, London

| Eltham Palace

Combining Art Deco and chic ocean liner style, Eltham Palace and Gardens is a stunning masterpiece of 20th century design. Textile magnates Stephen and Virginia Courtauld built their glamorous showpiece in 1936, next to the remains of a medieval royal palace, originally Henry VIII’s boyhood home. There will be guided tours of both the house and the surrounding gardens, including a sunken rose garden and medieval bridge.
