Upton House, near Banbury, with its magnificent art collection and fine
gardens, was bequeathed to the National Trust by the 2nd Viscount Bearstead,
whose grand-daughter and her husband, Felicity and Robert Waley-Cohen, lived in
the house for some years before moving to a new house in the park. Mr.
Waley-Cohen has very kindly agreed to lead a tour of the art collection in Upton
House, and has invited guests to tea afterwards in his private house. There will
also be an opportunity to see the splendid gardens.
