Visit: Rousham House

| Rousham House

Rousham House was built in 1635 by Sir Robert Dormer and remodelled in 1738 by William Kent who also designed the garden. The exterior of the house is 18th century Gothic revival and the interior has fine rooms, including Kent's Painted Parlour. The garden represents the first stage of English Landscape design and is one of the few gardens of this type to remain unaltered. Visit the house and enjoy the lovely grounds which include Venus' Vale and The Temple of the Mill.
