Visit: Salisbury Cathedral and Arundells, Salisbury

| Salisbury Cathedral

The Cathedral Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Salisbury was started in 1220 and completed within one hundred years. Its tower houses the oldest working clock in Europe and its Chapter House contains the best of the four surviving copies of the Magna Carta. It is without doubt one of the most important cathedrals in the country. Take a 2 hour specialist tour, followed by tours of Edward Heath’s house, Arundells, of 45 minutes.

Salisbury is full of things to see, with Mompesson House (NT), the Military Museum and the Wiltshire Museum all in the Close.
