Visit: Brampton Bryan Hall, Shropshire/Herefordshire

| Brampton Bryan Hall

A rare opportunity to visit Brampton Bryan Hall, a delightful private house lived in by the Harley family since the fourteenth century. Built in 1660 at the end of the Civil War, the house was substantially altered to give a remodelled Georgian south front in 1748. The Hall has recently undergone major refurbishment including conservation of many of the contents. The house has interesting historial links with the Civil War in Herefordshire, Queen Anne’s Prime Minister Robert Harley, 1st Earl of Oxford, Admiral Lord Rodney and Lord Byron.

An introductory talk in the Victorian Dairy is followed by tours of the house followed by drinks & canapés.
