Reception and Lecture: 'Treasures of the Merchant Adventurers' Hall', York

| The Merchant Adventurers' Hall

A return visit to the Merchant Adventurers' Hall for a pre-Christmas reception and lecture. After a wine and delicious homemade canapes reception, Darrell Buttery, a past Governor of the Company and curator of pictures will talk about the collection and show many of the early York watercolours which are not on display. The early seventeenth-century York silver cup, purchased with the aid of an Art Fund grant in 2008, will be on show. There is plenty of room in the Merchant Adventurers' Hall, so friends are welcome to attend.
