A 2-day visit starting with a day at Windsor Castle, with plenty of time to view the magnificent State Apartments furnished with works of art from the Royal Collection, including paintings by British and Continental Old Masters, from Canaletto and Gainsborough to Rembrandt and Rubens. St George's Chapel is one of the finest examples of Gothic architecture in England and contains the tombs of ten sovereigns. George IV's private apartments (the Semi-State Rooms), which are the most richly decorated interiors in the Castle, will be open. In addition there is a splendid exhibition in the drawings gallery Henry VIII: A 500th Anniversary, which brings together some of the most important and beautiful treasures to survive from the king's reign from the Royal Collection and the St George's Chapel archives.

The visit concludes with a tour of Middle Temple Hall and Chapel, the Courtauld Institute of The Queen's Gallery, followed by Turner and the Masters exhibition at Tate Britain.
