Sir William Proby, who recently retired as Chairman of the National Trust, will talk about its approach to green issues, giving some of the history and background of the organisation, how they acquired so many properties and what they are doing about their carbon footprint and environmental issues.

Sir William has had a distinguished career in the City. he has been President of the Historic Houses Association, and was recently made a Trustee of the National Portrait Gallery. This promises to be a interesting and entertaining talk.
