Visit to Handel House

Handel House was home to the baroque composer George Frideric Handel from 1723 until his death in 1759 and 2009 marks the anniversary of Handel's death. This elegant seventeenth-century house is where Handel composed some of the greatest music in history including Messiah, Zadok the Priest and Music for the Royal Fireworks. A meticulous restoration project has recreated as faithfully as possible the early Georgian interiors Handel would have known.

A private guided tour followed by a short recital.
