Evening reception: Celebration of the gift and conservation of the Royal Worcester Pattern Books
Evening reception at the Worcester Porcelain Museum to celebrate the acquisition of the Royal Worcester Pattern Books.
Last year, The Art Fund announced that it wished to mark the 40th anniversary of the founding of NADFAS with a special gift. We chose the Royal Worcester Porcelain Design Department Archive which the Worcester Porcelain Museum had been fundraising to purchase, and presented it as an outright gift to the museum.
With introductions from Martin Drury, Vice-President of NADFAS, and others; a short presentation on the archive and its conservation; and displays of pattern books with guides to explain the process involved in their upkeep.
