Starting with a tour of the Guildhall, a fine early twentieth century building, walk down the High Street to have a quick view of the 1744-5 Maister House, before going on to Holy Trinity Church, one of the largest parish churches in England, for a guided tour.
After time for lunch in one of the many cafés and pubs in the city centre, meet, at 2.30pm, for a visit to St. Charles Borromeo, an 1828 Catholic church with a striking Baroque interior. Following this visit re-assemble at the Ferens Art Gallery for a guided tour of the highlights of its collection, before finishing with a cup of tea in the Galleryâ€™s café.
