Scottish Houses Tour

This tour is centred on Ayrshire, Burns Country. In the 250th anniversary year of his birth this visit provides the opportunity to see the cottage, museum and garden. On the second day go to The Hill House, Mackintosh's masterpiece and then the privately owned Ardgowan 18th century mansion on the Firth of Clyde. The final day includes Robert Adam's Culzean Castle and Dumfries House, where The Art Fund played a major role in bringing together the parties which saved it, the Fund grant-aiding the contents including the Chippendale Furniture. The elegance of the house will be seen with the help of guides. All three Adam brothers were involved in its design.
The price of £250 each in a double room with a single supplement of £22 includes 2 lunches, and 2 nights with dinner at Fenwick Hotel north of Kilmarnock.
