A Visit to Berwick Church

| Berwick Church

Built on what may be a preChristian sacred site, the Church is best known for its extensive 20C murals. These were painted during WW11 by the Bloomsbury artists Duncan Grant, Vanessa Bell and Quentin Bell. Peter Blee, Vicar of Berwick Church, will tell us about the history of the church and the wall paintings and refer to Bishop Bell of Chichester and his support for the arts in churches and Berwick in particular.
