Visit to High Cross House and Dartington Hall

The Dartington Estate lies about two miles from Totnes and contains several interesting buildings. The visit starts at High Cross House, a specially commissioned 1930s house which is the home of the Dartington Hall Trust Collection. Several pieces will be on display in the exhibition area. This will be a private visit with an introductory talk after which you will set off on a self-guided tour. Lunch (own expense) is available at The Cider Press Centre or at The White Hart at the Hall. You may also picnic in the grounds of High Cross House. At 2pm have a guided tour of the Dartington gardens, including the Hall (subject to function bookings). This will cover the history of the estate. Tea will be provided on completion.
