Evening Drinks at Pangolin-Editions, Chalford

| Pangolin-Editions

A wonderful opportunity to see the workshops of one of Britains’s leading sculpture foundries which casts for an international clientele and to any scale. It is one of the very few foundries still practising the skills of lost wax block investment casting and there are facilities for sand moulding processes where the largest of monuments can be moulded.

The visit coincides with the Gallery’s exhibition 'Fire and Brimstone' and you will have the opportunity to meet two of the artists to talk about their work which will be on display. 'Fire and Brimstone' is a collection of sculptures made by 15 different artists who were given free rein of all the departments in the foundry to make sculptures where the process of casting itself is used to create the image rather than reproducing it.
