Visit: Arundells

| Arundells

Following last year’s sell out tours of Arundells we have been able to arrange two further tours this year. Arundells is former home of Sir Edward Heath located in the Cathedral Close in Salisbury. Although believed to have been built in 1749, it is apparent that its origins are much earlier. The house contains Sir Edward’s collections of ceramics, bronzes, paintings (including works by Sickert Augustus and Gwen John, and Sargent), photographs and political cartoons. The beautiful 2 acre gardens run down to the River Avon from which fine views can be had both of the Cathedral and the Water Meadows. Tickets include an afternoon tea in the Cathedral Refectory.
