Visit: City and Guilds of London Art School: Degree Show 2009

| City & Guilds of London Art School

Established in 1879, the City & Guilds of London Art School is one of the few remaining independent art schools in the country. It is known for its emphasis on crafts-based practice and for keeping the tradition of the artist-teacher alive. The fine arts are taught alongside sculpture conservation and ornamental carving in stone and wood, for which the school is renowned. Our visit offers a chance to see this year’s graduate show, with the possibility to join some of the school’s tutors for guided tours of the Fine Art, Conservation and Carving sections.
