Visit to the Reform Club, Pall Mall with Lunch at Art Fund HQ
| Reform Club
The Reform Club is one of the finest Victorian buildings in the country, designed by Sir Charles Barry and largely unchanged since it was built in 1841. Inspired by Renaissance style, the Reform is markedly different from Barry's design for the Houses of Parliament. Meet inside for a guided tour, followed by coffee. Afterwards make your own way to Art FUnd HQ, next to South Kensington Tube. Members of staff will join an informal chat about the work of Head Office. Visit ends at approx. 2pm. Members may wish to go on and visit 'Baroque: 1620 - 1800. Style in the Age of Magnificence', opening April at the V&A, which is five minutes walk away.
NB Please note there is a strict dress code at the Reform: jacket and tie for men and ladies are required to dress with similar formality.
