Visit to Ely Cathedral and Stained Glass Museum

| Ely Cathedral and Stained Glass Museum

Architectural historian and artist James Maddison, FSA, and author of Ely Cathedral - Design & Meaning will take a tour of the Cathedral following its history and architecture. The Stained Glass Museum is the only museum in the country entirely dedicated to this art and it is a jewel. Also see the new special exhibition of cartoons and sketches from the museum’s reserves. A light lunch will be served in the Almonry, near the Cathedral, between the two tours. The Stained Glass Museum is only accessible by stairs, but there is an excellent video tour available on the ground floor if prefered.
