Visit: Babylon Exhibition at the British Museum

The ancient city of Babylon is legendary, the Hanging Gardens, the Tower of Babel and the Babylonian Captivity all captivate us. Here at the British Museum are some of the greatest artefacts of that era collected from all over the world, among them the Ishtar Gate and Processional Way, cuneiform scripts on clay tablets and the newly excavated Stella Nabonidus from Saudi Arabia. The exhibition also takes us through the Middle Ages to Modern times in today’s Iraq.
