The King's Glass

Each year more than 250,000 people visit the chapel of King's College. Dr. Carola Hicks' lecture will be based on her highly acclaimed book "The King's Glass", which tells us the untold story of of the chapel's crowning glory, its stained glass windows.

Dr. Hicks is known for her interesting tours of King's College chapel and earlier visits looking at stained glass in churches of Cambridge. She also gives a fascinating insight into the Bayeaux Tapestries. She is a former Curator of th Stained Glass Museum at Ely and is Fellow of Newnham College.
