The Britten-Pears Library and Snape Maltings

| The Britten-Pears Library

The Red House in Aldeburgh was the home of Benjamin Britten and Peter Pears, and the library contains many items relating to their lives. In the 1960s, Britten converted the Victorian Snape Maltings into a concert hall: visitors can go backstage, and explore the site which is developing into a major European music campus.
