The Wordsworth Trust, Grasmere

An opportunity to visit Dove Cottage for those that wish to. Followed a little later with Wine and Cheese in the Jerwood Centre with an introduction given by a member of staff. A private viewing of the drawings by Mervin Peake for Coleridge's Rime of the Ancient Mariner and George Dawes Portrait of Samuel Taylor Coleridge. There will also be the opportunity to see the Paths of Fame Exhibition based on the works of Turner in the Courtauld Gallery's Collection.


Parking will be at the Trusts car park, outside La Columbina restaurant on the main road. The footpath leading to the Wordsworth Trust past the shop may be closed which will mean going round by the road.
