The Jockey Club has been at the heart of British
racing for over 250 years and its remarkable collection is a part of racing's
heritage. The day will begin with a coffee reception and commence the tour,
whereby our guide will give a talk on the rooms, history and art collection of
The Jockey Club. The collection features works by key figures in British
sporting art and includes outstanding paintings by Stubbs and Munnings.
After the tour at 12.30 lunch will be held at The Jockey Club. In the afternoon
there is the opportunity to explore Newmarket, including the Museum of British
Horseeracing, next door to The Jockey Club.
