The college, dubbed 'The cradle of Neptune' has been
the Alma Mater of every Royal Naval Officer for over a hundred years. The
impressive building,designed by Sir Aston Webb, sits majestically overlooking
the River Dart. The day will include an introductory talk by the curator of the
Britannia Musuem, Dr Richard Porter, followed by lunch and a guided tour of the
College and the Museum. Admiral Sir Michael Layard, an alumnus of the College
will give an 'atmospheric' on the coach.
