"Personality and Buildings": a walking tour of the buildings of Culshaw and Sumners

This walking tour looks at the buildings created by nineteenth century Liverpool architects William Culshaw and Henry Sumners.

Meeting on the corner of Chapel Street and Rumford Place, Joseph Sharples, a project researcher at Liverpool university specialising in Culshaw and Sumners' work, will lead a guided tour around the area showing the great variety of buildings they designed. Included in the tour will be a look at Berry's Building, the Conservation Centre and a number of buildings in Ranelagh Street and Bold Street.

There are two dates for the same walk - one on Sunday 7th September and one on Sunday 14th September 2008.
