The tour will begin at St.Paul's Cathedral at 11am for a guided walk by Carolyn Meunier, a qualified City of London guide, around some of the historic West City sites including the Old Bailey, St Sepulchre and St Bartholomew the Great.

After a break at Smithfield for lunch (not included in ticket price) visitors will gather at 2pm for a guided tour of Charterhouse. A former Carthusian monastery, the house has served as a private mansion, a boys' school and an almshouse. Now formally known as Sutton's Hospital in Charterhouse, it provides accomodation to 40 male pensioners known as Brothers. The visit concludes with afternoon tea.
