Visit to Howden, Wressle Castle and Gunby Hall

| The Shire Hall

A full and varied day which will start with coffee in the Shire Hall. This will be followed by a guided tour of Howden which will be led by Dr Bernard Nield of Howden Civic Trust. Next there will be a guided visit to Howden Minster which will be led by the Rector, the Rev. James Little. After a buffet lunch at Shire Hall, there will be the rare opportunity to visit the exterior of the ruined Wressle Castle, seat of the Percy family. A short visit to Bubwith Church will follow before afternoon tea in the nearby garden of Gunby Hall.
