Visit to Frampton Court and Frampton Manor

| Frampton Court and Frampton Manor

Owned and lived in by the Clifford family since the 11th century these two very different houses face each other across the green of Frampton-on-Severn in Gloucestershire. The Manor is an enchanting timber-framed 16th century house with its great Wool Barn whilst the Court is 18th century Grade 1 listed, with lavish interiors and exceptional joinery. It also houses much of the Frampton Flora, a collection of watercolours by 19th century Clifford ladies. The park and the garden, also listed, contains the exquistite Strawberry Hill gothic orangery and its ornamental canal and the Garden House. We will be guided by the family and there will be a lunch break between the two houses. Coffee on arrival.
