Visit: Athelhampton House & Garden & Cranbourne Manor Gardens Dorset

| Pick up points:

Athelhampton dates from 1485. It still retains many interesting features- linenfold paneling, a fine ceiling in the Library, and a splendid Banqueting Hall. We shall tour Athelhampton house and the Grade 1 garden with its impressive topiary.

After lunch we will drive to Cranbourne Manor to walk in its handsome gardens, which have been designed by the Dowager Lady Salisbury, renowned as a gardener. The Parish Church standing in the grounds will be open too.

Please note that some first floor rooms are only accessible by stairs and that there will be considerable walking in both gardens (which are wheelchair accessible).
