| The College of Arms

Learn about the work of the College of Arms on a private visit with Timothy Duke, Chester Herald. The college, incorporated by Richard III in 1484, consists of 13 Officers of Arms who are responsible for the ceremonial for such occasions as coronations, state openings of Parliament, and royal funerals. Its headquarters is one of the few 17th century buildings to survive in this part of London.
