A Tunbridge Wells Walk

| Tunbridge Wells

Come and enjoy the fascinating history of Tunbridge Wells, home of the Chalybeate Spring. There will be a talk preceding a guided circular tour with Val Chris a registered tourist guide, starting in the Pantiles. There will be the chance to hear stories of how the early visitors to the Spring spent their time and how architecture, particularly that of Decimus Burton, industry and crafts have all made it the busy urban centre it is today. The walk will take about one and a half hours. The streets are hilly but we walk neither fast nor far.
