Ray Johnson is a lecturer in film and television studies and a maker of local films. His contemporary cinema reviews feature on Radio Stoke and, recently, he has been involved in the development of the Stoke Film Festival. As a founder of the Staffordshire Film Archive he has also ensured the preservation of the social history of people and places. Ray has been documenting social change in Staffordshire and the surrounding area for many years and is a source of knowledge and information for local historians and media personnel. He has an immense breadth of knowledge of local culture and history as this filmshow will illustrate.
