Patterns of Harmony

| Millais House

Geometry has been of interest to artists and craftsmen over the centuries in all religious traditions, not only because of its great usefulness, but also because of its powerful symbolism.

Elise DeLong, who has recently received a PhD from the Prince's School of Traditional Arts, will speak about the school and its work, focussing on how geometry has been used in the traditional art and architecture of Islam and Christianity.

Her talk is accompanied by a practical demonstration of geometric constructions.
