Sheep: The Wool Trades and their Influence in Wiltshire

| Steeple Ashton Parish Hall

Ken Rogers, retired Wiltshire archivist, will trace the wool trades and their influence in Wiltshire. The fine 'wool' churches and domestic architecture in the county's towns and villages illustrate the riches which were brought to Wiltshire, thanks to the wool from sheep reared on the Downs.

The talk is followed by a walk around the charming village of Steeple Ashton.
