Walk: After the Blitz

| Tower Hill underground station

The 1980s witnessed the biggest rebuilding after the Blitz, during which a third of the City had been destroyed. That rebuilding continues to this day, with the skyline continually changing. This walk will take in architectural showpieces such as 30 St Mary Axe (the Gherkin); the Lloyds Building and Lloyds Register of Shipping.

A Londoner born and bred, Steve Denford is a qualified Blue Badge guide and has published a number of local history books, including a series on historical walks covering streets in the London Borough of Camden.
