Walk: South Bank Today

On this walk, Dr Richard Plant covers the south bank, from the Royal Festival Hall (reopening on 9 June following major refurbishment) to Tate Modern, taking in the Hayward Gallery and the National Theatre, and looking across the river at developments on the north bank such as the Charing Cross Building, various towers in the city, and St Paul’s Cathedral, ending at Bankside.

Richard Plant is Director of the Early European Art course at Christie’s Education, specialising in English Romanesque architecture and the use of art space in galleries and museums.
