Visit to Brithdir Hall - talk by Ann Sumner and Thomas Jones

Mr and Mrs Jeremy Rye are kindly inviting members and guests to their house Brithdir Hall near Welshpool, which has close conne tions with Thomas Jones. Ann Sumner, the author of "Thomas Jones (1742-1803); An Artist Rediscovered" and curatorof Fine Art at the National Museum and Gallery of Wales, will give a talk about the artist.

After a cup of tea Jeremy Rye will give a hort introduction about the house and its history. This will be followed by an opportunity to look at the house, its art works and to have a walk around the garden. Ann Sumner will start at approximately 5.45 and the visit will end after supper.
