Competition: Virginia Woolf at the National Portrait Gallery

Win tickets, a catalogue and afternoon tea at the National Portrait Gallery.

Virginia Woolf by Vanessa Bell, c.1912
Virginia Woolf: Art, Life and Vision, explores the life of the legendary Modernist writer and Bloomsbury Group linchpin: her early life, literary interests and achievements, her fascination with London and her developing feminist and political views.

It includes portraits of the writer by her Bloomsbury contemporaries – including Duncan Grant, Roger Fry and her sister, Vanessa Bell – as well as a collection of photographs by George Charles Beresford, Man Ray, and Maurice Beck and Helen McGregor, who photographed Woolf for Vogue. There are also portraits of those she was closest to, recording the time she spent with friends, family and literary peers.

To celebrate this fantastic new show, we're giving away a pair of tickets to Virginia Woolf: Art, Life and Vision, a catalogue by exhibition curator Frances Spalding and afternoon tea for two at the Portrait Restaurant.

For the chance to win, just fill in the form below, answering the question: what was the name of Virginia and Leonard Woolf's publishing house?
