South London Gallery

This internationally recognised art gallery comprises a series of exhibition spaces, a bookshop, café and artists’ flat that is occupied through the residency programme.

The gallery's collection began with its founding in 1891 and includes works by Modern British artists, more than 500 20th century prints and contemporary works relating to South London.

Programming five shows a year, the gallery has featured established figures such as Tom Friedman as well as mid-career artists like Eva Rothschild.

It has become widely regarded as one of the most important art institutions in South London, a prestige that is cemented by its position next door to Camberwell College of Arts.
