Museum of Cambridge

This small, independent social history museum houses a vibrant collection that tells the story of Cambridgeshire people.

Over 2,000 objects providing an insight into the history of Cambridgeshire are housed in a 17th-century timber-framed building, which was the White Horse Inn for 300 years.

Permanent collections

The varied and intriguing collection contains familiar household items, some dating back to the 1600s, and is displayed in nine room settings including a bar, a kitchen and a playroom.
