Founded in 1788, the Linen Hall Library is the oldest library in Belfast and one of the oldest in the UK.

Located in Belfast's thriving city centre, it houses an unparalleled Irish and local studies collection, an internationally renowned Northern Irish political collection, a vast genealogical and heraldry collection plus a comprehensive general lending collection.
