Kettle's Yard

Cambridgeshire, CB3 0AQ

Kettle's Yard is closed for refurbishment.

Kettle’s Yard is currently closed while a major building project takes place. This will include a new four-floor education wing, entrance area and café, as well as improved exhibition galleries. During the closure Kettle's Yard will host off site displays, events and concerts in and around Cambridge. For more information please visit the website. It will reopen on 10 February 2018.

It was the home of Jim Ede, a former curator at the Tate Gallery, who gathered a remarkable collection, including paintings by Ben and Winifred Nicholson, Alfred Wallis, Christopher Wood, David Jones and Joan Mirö, as well as sculptures by Henri Gaudier-Brzeska, Constantin Brancusi, Henry Moore and Barbara Hepworth. Next door is a modern art gallery showing a changing and exciting programme of modern and contemporary art.
