Gagosian Gallery, Britannia Street

Larry Gagosian opened his second London Gallery, in Britannia Street, in May 2004.

At the time it opened, the Britannia Street venue was the largest commercial space in the capital; now it is just one of 12 international venues. The inaugural exhibition was a show of paintings and sculpture by Cy Twombly. Gagosian specialises in showings of Contemporary and Modern art, including internationally acclaimed artists Andy Warhol, Jackson Pollock, Damien Hirst and Pablo Picasso.
