Fry Art Gallery

The Fry Art Gallery houses an impressive number of paintings, prints, illustrations, wallpapers and decorative designs by artists of the 20th century and the present day with local connections.

Edward Bawden dominated the local scene for many years, and the gallery holds a large number of his works. Other artists represented include John Aldridge, Michael Ayrton, Olive Cook, Eric Ravilious, Michael Rothenstein, Kenneth Rowntree, Edwin Smith and Keith Vaughan.

First Sunday in April to the last Sunday in October inclusive at the following times: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 2pm – 5pm Saturday, 11am – 5pm
Sunday & Bank Holidays, 2.15pm – 5pm

Group visits outside opening hours are welcome by arrangement
