Curtis Museum and Allen Gallery

The museum, which was founded in 1855 and occupies premises built in 1880, shows how the area has developed from the earliest times.

Of particular interest are displays on hops and brewing. The Allen Gallery houses a display of English, Continental and Far Eastern pottery, porcelain and tiles.
