A major retrospective of a key figure in modern art, on the centenary of his birth.

Paul Feiler, Chrome & Lemon, 1956

Paul Feiler was at the forefront of the St Ives artists, taking his inspiration from the light and landscape of Cornwall, but he always followed his own path.

Rarely talking or writing about his work, he wanted it to speak for itself.

This exhibition offers an in-depth exploration of a career that spanned over 60 years until his death in 2013. From his figurative paintings of the 1940s and lyrical abstract works of the 1950s and 1960s through to his geometric pieces and later Perspex square reliefs, the exhibition also includes works never before put on public display.
