A display of loans from private art collectors with a connection to the gallery.

The display provides a rare opportunity to see works by the like sof Dante Gabriel Rossetti, Edward Burne-Jones, William Holman Hunt and John Singer Sargent that are normally hidden away in private homes and spaces.

Lenders have also provided accounts of how they came to own them, offering a revealing insight into the private world of art collecting.
